Trainee Solicitor

I joined MinterEllison in 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor and I currently rotate between the practice areas of Corporate, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, and Infrastructure, Construction and Projects. Prior to joining MinterEllison, I obtained my LL.B. (with First Class Honours) and PCLL from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

I currently represent the Moot Alumni Association regionally in the North Asia.

I am an avid mooter during my studies. In 2022, I received an Honourable Mention for Best Individual Oral Advocate from the Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot. I am also interested in legal research and was a published author of the Hong Kong Journal of Legal Studies (Volume 15). I further assumed position as a research assistant contributing to “Lex Atlas: COVID-19”, a global academic project led by the Max Planck Institute of Comparative Public Law and International Law.

I am fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

IPO

  • Acting for a PRC technology company on its H-share listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Venture Capital

  • Assisted in advising an investor, a Hong Kong-based lab investing in technological solutions, on its investment in relation to the Series A financing of a leading Building Information Modelling (BIM) consultancy firm in Asia Pacific.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Assisted in providing on-going regulatory compliance advice to listed companies, including A+H share issuers, relating to Listing Rules of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and/or Takeovers Code implications.

Debt Financing

Private Placement of Notes

  • Assisted in acting for Heroic Day Limited, a subsidiary of a state-owned bank, in relation to its subscription of senior secured guaranteed notes in the aggregate principal amount of US$210,000,000 issued by Zhuguang Holdings Group Company Limited (HK:1176).
