I was the Group General Counsel having responsibility for all legal affairs, compliance matters and company secretarial services and a member of the Management Committee for Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited which owns the London Metal Exchange, until December 2020 when I set up C&TM Limited. I was instrumental in all acquisitions by HKEX and all its strategic developments and Fintech initiatives including the connect schemes, stock and bond connect, development of derivative products including the recent suite of MSCI future contracts.
