Before training and becoming an Associate at MinterEllison, I obtained my Juris Doctor degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.  I also hold a Bachelor degree in translation (minor in German).  I am fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• Assisted in representing a Main Board-listed company and successfully defended it against various claims of misstatement by the Financial Reporting Council.
• Assisted in representing directors of Main Board-listed companies in investigation by the Securities and Futures Commission.
• Assisted in representing a private client in Hong Kong in an email fraud matter and successfully assisted it in reaching a settlement agreement to recover HKD5 million from the wrong-doing party.
• Assisted in representing a private company in America in an email fraud matter, and successfully applied for Mareva injunction and ancillary disclosure orders, and assisted in tracing and recovery of over HKD9.5 million.
• Assisting in representing a private company in Hong Kong with subsidiaries in various jurisdictions in tracing and recovering HKD966 million of assets misappropriated by its director.
• Assisting in representing a private company in Hong Kong in enforcing a judgment sum against its former accountant for misappropriation through charging orders and garnishee proceedings.
• Assisted in representing a private company in Hong Kong and successfully resisted a winding up petition by its shareholder.
• Assisting in representing a Main Board-listed company to defend a contractual claim by its creditors for HKD247 million and attended mediation.
• Assisted in advising executors of various Hong Kong tycoons’ estates on contentious distribution issues.
• Assisting in representing an executrix in Mainland China for recovery of shares in a Hong Kong company which belonged to the estate.
